TERMS OF USE
Service Provider: The Gut Health Dietitian
Programme: 12-Week Gut Reset Plan & The Enhanced Gut Reset Plan
Delivery Format: Telehealth (online consultations only)
1. Consultations
All consultations take place via our telehealth platform.
The programme includes:
• One 60-minute initial assessment
• Two 45-minute follow-up appointments
• Weekly review of your food and symptom diary (Enhanced Programme only)
• Messaging support via Practice Better (see Section 2) (Enhanced Programme only)
The initial assessment provides a comprehensive review of your medical history, lifestyle and dietary habits. A nutritional diagnosis will be provided, followed by a tailored treatment plan.
Follow-up appointments are used to monitor progress and adjust your plan as needed.
2. Messaging Support
Messaging support is provided via Practice Better.
Availability: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Response time: We aim to respond within 48 hours.
Messaging support is for brief questions and clarifications only.
It is not suitable for discussing new symptoms, medical concerns, or for urgent care.
3. Eligibility and Medical Safety
To join this programme, you must:
• Have visited your GP
• Have received a formal diagnosis of IBS
• Be medically stable to engage in nutritional support
We do not diagnose IBS or any medical condition.
If your symptoms worsen, change significantly, or you develop red-flag symptoms, you must seek medical attention.
4. Disclaimer
This programme provides nutritional guidance only.
We do not:
• Diagnose or treat IBS
• Diagnose or treat medical conditions
• Provide emergency medical care
• Guarantee results or symptom outcomes
Results vary depending on individual circumstances, medical status and adherence to the programme.
5. Client Responsibilities
By joining the programme, you agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information during your assessment
• Inform your dietitian of any changes to your health, medication or symptoms
• Attend scheduled appointments on time
• Engage with the treatment plan and follow guidance as advised
• Use messaging support appropriately and within the stated boundaries
You are responsible for implementing the agreed recommendations.
6. Missed or Late Appointments
• At least 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
• Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
• If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
• Missed appointments (no-shows) may be chargeable.
Unused sessions cannot be carried forward outside the 12-week programme unless otherwise agreed.
7. Programme Duration and Holidays
The programme lasts for 12 weeks from the date of your initial assessment.
All sessions must be used within this 12-week period.
If you have holidays during your programme, please notify your dietitian in advance. Additional time may be added onto the end of the programme at the dietitian’s discretion.
8. Payment Terms
Payment for the programme must be made in full at the time of booking via Stripe on your Practice Better account.
Your place is not confirmed until payment is received.
9. Refund Policy
A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase, provided that no consultation has taken place within that period.
If the first consultation has taken place, the cooling-off period no longer applies.
Outside the statutory cooling-off period, no refunds are offered for the 12-Week VIP Programme.
10. Emergency and Red-Flag Guidance
This programme is not suitable for urgent concerns or emergency symptoms.
If you experience any of the following, you must contact your GP or NHS 111, or seek emergency medical care:
• Severe or worsening abdominal pain
• Unexplained weight loss
• Persistent vomiting
• Blood in your stool
• New or rapidly changing symptoms
• Symptoms that significantly affect your ability to eat, drink or function
Messaging support must not be used for urgent situations.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of this programme, including handouts, plans, PDFs, and digital resources, are the property of The Gut Health Dietitian.
These materials are for your personal use only and must not be:
• Shared
• Copied
• Reproduced
• Distributed
• Used for commercial purposes
12. Limitation of Liability
Advice is provided based on the information you share during consultations and through your Practice Better account.
We are not liable for:
• Indirect, incidental or consequential losses
• Outcomes influenced by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you
• Health changes that occur outside our control
• Any results, as outcomes cannot be guaranteed
13. Termination Clause
We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the programme if:
• You repeatedly miss appointments
• You do not engage with the programme
• You behave inappropriately or disrespectfully
• Safeguarding concerns arise
• You require medical or specialist support beyond our scope of practice
If termination occurs outside the cooling-off period, no refunds will be issued.
14. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All client information is stored in accordance with UK GDPR guidelines.
Confidentiality will only be broken if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others. Where possible, this will be discussed with you beforehand.

15. Agreement
By enrolling in the 12-Week VIP Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use.
